The client

Established in 1967, the European Mortgage Federation (EMF) is the voice of the European mortgage industry on the retail side of the business, representing the interests of mortgage lenders at European level.

The European Covered Bond Council (ECBC) is the platform that brings together covered bond market participants including covered bond issuers, analysts, investment bankers, rating agencies and a wide range of other interested stakeholders.

01. The Request

Both entities were willing to join both their branding and website. Their request was to elaborate a brand new image that would truly reflect the prestige of these major European actors, and their expectations in terms of visual identity had to be globally accepted given the pan-european context.

In term of functionalities, the client asked for:

  • the ability to share content across both websites without having to rewrite it
  • an event management system •
  • a job board system
  • several content templates and layouts dependent on the type of content they render
  • several subscriptions systems linked to different marketing automation funnels

02. Our Response

  • We provided a high-end branding guide and based on this one, we designed a complex multi-site that could be updated through a single back-office.
  • This website allows the visitors to browse through more than 50 different pages and to download a huge amount of documents.
  • We analysed their traffic to segment the information, reorganize the content, and increase the UX/UI.

03. The results

EMF & ECBC now benefit from a highly impressive online presence that allows them to be present in every European state.

Both sites also provide a huge range of information to be downloadable for its members. As a result, the website is user-friendly, and the time spent on page increased significantly.
